5 Tips to Drink Water right, in Ayurveda way!
The human body is made up of 60 to 70 percent of water and you need to drink water to stay hydrated and keep your body healthy. Normally, it is suggested to drink at least eight glasses of water as water is required to maintain the body s fluid balance. Drinking water helps in digestion, transport of nutrients and regulates your body temperature. According to Ayurveda, there are some guidelines for drinking water and it helps you stay healthy. Improper way of drinking water can lead to ailments. Here are some tips to drink water the right way as per Ayurveda. 1. Do not gulp down your water .It is important not to gulp down water. Take small sips and drink slowly. Just like having meals, it is better to have water in small sips rather than gulping down a large quantity of water. 2.
